RANDOLPH CENTER, Vt. (June 7, 2022) – The winners of the 14th annual Student Business/Entrepreneurship Competitions were announced today. Hosted by Vermont Small Business Development Center (VtSBDC), Vermont Rural Entrepreneurship through Action Learning (VT REAL), and Vermont Business Education Corporation (VBEC), all Vermont high school and career-tech center students were invited to enter Business Model Canvas plans or business video pitch plans of a product or service. Cash prizes were awarded for the top entries.

“We are so proud of the students who participated,” said Laurel Butler, VtSBDC Business Advisor-Startup and Student Entrepreneur Specialist. “Each student demonstrated creativity, social responsibility, and quality in their presentations.”
“I would like to thank our independent judges for reviewing the entries,” concluded Butler. “I know it is difficult to select from these innovative entries. Vermont’s students continue to get better and better, a sign of a bright future ahead for our next generation.”
